We had a wonderful stay in Bishop Nympton. The cottage is really cosy - the log burner is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole cottage was spotlessly clean. Plenty to do near by and some walks direct from the door. The lanes are very quiet for walking. We visited Instow, Tarr Steps, Valley of Rocks, Lynmouth, Dunster and North MoltonRead more. All were brilliant and well worth the drive. Hide

We all enjoyed staying in the cottage. The village was quiet and the little shop useful. A good base for exploring. All very comfortable and our teens enjoyed the snug.

Our third visit to this cottage - perfect for peace and quiet and good base for exploring North Devon or staying in a reading by the log fire. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. No hesitation in recommending to others.

A very nice and quaint cottage. We truly enjoyed the lovely fireplace. Cottage is located in a very peaceful and quiet location, away from the noises. Parking was easy. The host Jocelyn was very lovely and even help to send us our hat that was left behind. She did not want us to reimburse her when we offered. Thank you Jocelyn.

Lovely stay for the week, the cottage had everything you needed for a comfortable holiday . Bishops Nympton is a really quiet, friendly village and makes an easy base to tour North Devon from. The snug out the back was a great extra and was well used on our stay. Would definitely recommend if anyone we knew was going to be staying this way.

The snug was great it was so light and airy and cool. The week was so hot so we used it a lot. A bit too isolated for me and my dog and no pub in the village but only 30mins from coast.

This was our second stay at 2 the shrubbery. Its a great cottage in a really good location for accessing North Devon. The cottage has an added bonus of having a snug out the back which is a really nice chill out space. We will definitely be booking again.

A lovely cottage for discovering Devon, we stayed for 12 nights. The cottage was well equipped and easy to keep warm (a big plus for Australian travellers!). We didn't use the snug out the back but can imagine it would be a great hangout for teenagers.
