We had a lovely week at this beautiful cottage. The owners were so friendly and helpful whenever we had any questions, and the cottage was very comfortable for our party of 9 (4 under 8s). The garden was lovely and a good space for the kids to run about in, and the cottage looks back on fields of cows, sheep and ponies. The kitchen is well furnisheRead mored and has a nice big dining table that we could all fit around. Bedrooms were a very good size too. Would love to return again. Hide

Warm friendly welcome by the family. Beautiful garden for sunny afternoon tea. It was wonderful to wake up to bleating sheep and look out across hills. So quiet and clear for stargazing at night (dark sky reserve). It was spotlessly clean with soft bedding and pillows. Kitchen well stocked with all equipment you need for cooking meals. We arrived fairly late at night and was greeted by Jo with a smile and she was very happy to show us in. As it was cold there was a fire ready which was perfect as the cottage was warm and cosy ready for our arrival. We had everything we needed for our stay even a basket of logs for the rest of our stay. We were even lucky enough to see a calf in tRead morehe field outside the window minutes after being born. Maximum number of nine people seems too high for size of the property. In particular the downstairs accommodation is limited. But the cottage has loads of character and the location is lovely, being on a working farm. The garden is relaxing and very pretty.

In such a peaceful location, this character cottage is set in a beautiful garden and was perfect for our family gathering. and alfresco dining. Plenty of space for 8 of us to cook, eat, sleep and relax. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking family meals, and we loved the welcome wine and juice and beautiful flowers in all the rooms.. A gooRead mored location as a base for Combe Martin and the North Devon beaches and South West path, Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, Would recommend. Hide

This cottage was a fabulous find. The area is stunning and we could not have asked for more from the cottage. It is on a working farm and the owners live in the adjoining cottage and were on hand if needed. We had children in our party and to have sheep and ponies so close was a bonus. We holidayed in Cornwall last year but we all felt we left a liRead morettle bit of our hearts in Devon. The scenery is amazing and the cottage is quite central for exploring.
