Guests staying at this cottage wake up to breathtaking views of the sea, in fact they can even lie in the bath and gaze out across the waves. A balcony and tiered garden are wonderful places to enjoy those spectacular views over al fresco drinks in the evenings, or perhaps you’ll choose to enjoy dining in one of Ilfracombe’s sea-front restaurants, just 2.5 miles around the coast from the property.
Beautiful sea light pours in through the windows of this cottage, giving the whole property a wonderfully light and airy feel. This is particularly true in the lounge, thanks to the large French windows at one end of the room which open onto a fantastic balcony offering uninterrupted sea views. Moving through to the kitchen/diner even doing the washing up becomes a pleasure when you can stand at the sink and watch the boats go by. An external wet room can be found outside in the terraced garden, excellent for washing off sand after a day at the beach. (Please note that the neighbouring properties have access through the garden).
Keen walkers, or those who simply want to explore a little further around the coast, will love the fact that this property is situated right on the South West Coast Path. Following the path eastwards for 1.5 miles brings visitors to Watermouth Castle and its fun family-friendly theme park. To the west of the property, meanwhile, the harbour town of Ilfracombe is just 2.5 miles away on foot or by car and offers a fantastic range of shops and restaurants, as well as two beaches, including the picturesque Tunnels Beach which visitors reach through a network of hand-carved Victorian tunnels.
