A lovely cottage in the English Riviera town of Brixham, this lovely retreat offers an inviting sanctuary in the heart of the action for the whole family. Wake up feeling fresh and walk to the shops and boutiques, not forgetting to pick up some delicious produce from the local fish market and delis. Staying true to its traditional style whilst incorporating a clean, contemporary feel, the property offers something for everyone, including your dogs, and is a welcome retreat after a day’s exploration.

The entrance of the property has a hall where you can take off your shoes and is also home to the first of the three bedrooms and the kitchen. From here you can go downstairs to the open-plan lounge/diner, or upstairs to the first floor where you will find the second bedroom and bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. The final floor is accessible via steep cottage-style stairs. Here, the final bedroom, a twin, is found. Set within the eaves, this space has limited headroom giving it a truly cosy, authentic feel and is perfect for children. Sit outside in the garden area for al fresco feasts.

With its maritime roots deeply entrenched, the coast plays a huge part in day-to-day life in Brixham. Wander the harbour and the marina, watching beautiful yachts, sailing boats and working fishing boats to and fro. Visit a full-size replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship, Golden Hind, in the harbour and feel like a local on a fishing trip around the coast. Further afield, a multitude of beaches wait to be explored, including Meadfoot beach, just 10 miles away.

Lovely property. Comfortable and well equipped. Small but adequate lovely sunny garden to enjoy. Difficulty parking nr property as double Yellow lines outside of house, and roads very narrow. Need to be be prepared to walk steep steps in and out of town or walk around on steep path. Takes only 5 mins to walk into centre.
