Well-chosen pieces of furniture complement the carefully maintained original features in this characterful period cottage, lending the whole property an authentic cosy feel. Just a 0.3-mile stroll brings visitors to the centre of picturesque Berrynarbor village where the welcoming pub is a lovely spot to while away an evening.
Four stone steps lead from the road up to the front gate of this cottage and on towards the front door. Once inside guests may be surprised to discover that although the cottage retains many of its original features it is actually an extremely bright and light property with large windows affording beautiful views across the surrounding countryside. As well as the main accommodation which has three bedrooms, there is a separate area at one end of the cottage, boasting its own open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a double sofa-bed on the ground floor, as well as a double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. This, in effect, creates a separate cottage to the main house, making it an ideal property for two families holidaying together. Outside, the 0.3 acres of tiered gardens offers lawns as well as a patio area with a BBQ and garden furniture.
A fantastic base for a holiday, the village of Berrynarbor is located less than 4 miles from the harbour town of Ilfracombe, which not only offers a fantastic range of shops, cafes, and restaurants but is also home to two beaches. It is even possible to head to the harbour to join a day trip across to the beautiful tranquil shores of Lundy in the Bristol Channel.
