For walkers and nature lovers, you’ll find no better spot, with scenic countryside walks from the doorstep. When you’re done exploring for the day, retire to the private hot tub, or sit at the front of the property and enjoy a drink while soaking up the magnificent and far-reaching views.

Approached via an impressive driveway, the property is striking, and sits within a small complex of three properties. Inside though you’ll find a cosy home away from home that’s perfect for a romantic couples retreat. The decor is contemporary, adding to the light and airy feel that is prominent throughout. From the bedroom, enjoy those breathtaking views once more - the perfect sight to wake up to. The grounds are plentiful, with room to roam and explore

From the property, Exmoor is within easy reach, just 5.5 miles away, with the vast moorland offering ample walking and cycling opportunities. If you’re willing to venture a little further afield, head to the coast, which is surely a must-do when in Devon. Enjoy the long sandy beaches at Croyde (21 miles), Saunton (18.5 miles) or Woolacombe (25.5 miles), or head to the twin seaside towns of Lynton and Lynmouth (20 miles) and take a trip on the cliff railway to enjoy the waterside views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hosts are friendly and helpful with the property having everything you need. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us after our long journey so that we could have a cup of tea and settle in. The scenery is stunning with the hot tub being a great addition to our stay. Would just like to say firstly the owners are so welcoming and really accommodating. The cottage is stunning, it has everything you need for your stay. The hot tub is very private and kept clean. The scenery is beautiful the owners really take care of their land, lots to do in Devon. Couldnt recommend here enough, would 100% return.

Julie was a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble. Welcome pack on arrival was very thoughtful. Detached cottage, although very small had all that we needed for our stay and was ample size for a couple and small dog. We had a lovely week staying at North Gate Granary. Julie was very helpful with suggestions for places to visit and walks. We particularly enjoyed Croyde and Baggy Point. There are a few good National Trust places to visit within the area.

What a beautiful & sweet little place to stay,with stunning views of the North Devon countryside. We fell in love with the gorgeous little courtyard garden and throughly enjoyed the hot tub. This is a lovely property with amazing views. If you want peace and quiet you need to visit here. The owners have a pet pig and sheep who are adorable. The property was very comfortable and cosy. The owners live near and are very helpful. I will be staying here again for sure. It was such a relaxing break away

Our cottage next to the owners Manor house was excellent & for 2 people was very comfortable & had everything to hand . The hot tub was a bonus & nice & private & not overlooked by anyone. The cottage was spotless, full of everything you need to enjoy your stay. Julie is a fab host and will answer any questions you have on the area. Love the animals on site including the Peacocks! Amazing stay. We stayed in the Granary and took our little frenchie with us. The grounds are beautiful and the animals were so fun to take the doggo around. The cottage was cosy and clean and Julie made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend!!!

An amazing stay at an amazing property. The Granary is a perfectly formed little nest for couples looking to get away from it all. The property offers an open plan living space with a well equipt kitchen. Upstairs is a romantic and cosy bedroom with en-suit bathroom. A lovely, compact cottage with everything we needed. We were a couple with a dog and it worked very well for us. Super clean, well laid out, warm and with some very nice personal touches.
