Make your escape to this colourful cottage nestled in Devon's delightful Appledore. Up to four guests, plus two happy hounds are welcome at the two-bedroom, period property, which is tucked away in a tranquil quarter of the picturesque coastal village. Spend days out on beautiful beaches, enjoy scenic walks and while away your holiday time pottering in interesting shops and dining out.
Step inside to find a fresh interior, where light rooms are further lifted by brightly coloured furniture and accessories. Hang your coats in the hall then wander through to the lounge to relax in front of the Smart TV or listen to your favourite tunes through the Sonos system. Cook tasty treats in the kitchen then serve up in the airy dining room. Find a separate WC, a useful utility room and your family bathroom also on the ground floor. Make your way up to the first floor to discover two inviting bedrooms. Both have Smart TVs and the master comes with an en-suite shower room. Spend warm days soaking up the serenity in your courtyard garden - carry your coffee outside on summer mornings and fire up the BBQ on balmy evenings.
Discover the delights of Appledore as you wander down its narrow lanes and along the quay. Catch the ferry to Instow, with its pier and sandy beach. Walk 3 miles along the beach or through the Northam Burrows Country Park to Westward Ho!, named after Charles Kingsley's novel of 1855. Picnic and play on the stretching sands here. Families might also like to make time to visit one of the many attractions in this corner of Devon, including the Milky Way Adventure Park, 12.5 miles away.
