Located in a Victorian sea captain’s house in a breathtaking elevated position, this property is a superb lower-ground apartment that is sure to impress guests. Contemporary yet comfortable with stunning uninterrupted sea views, this property is ideal for those that want a quiet retreat while still being within half a mile of the cafes, shops and restaurants that Ilfracombe has to offer. Climb the apartment’s own set of stairs up to the terrace, admiring the view of the harbour and the lush greenery around it.

Whether you’re relaxing in the bright and airy lounge with glorious sea views or sitting out on the terrace with a glass of wine, you’ll never feel far from the coast here. The interiors are fresh and welcoming with thoughtful contemporary touches. The lounge is filled with light during the day, but when evening comes it turns into a cosy haven, ready for you to snuggle into the sofas with the wood burner lit. In the morning, wake up in one of the peaceful bedrooms and head to the kitchen diner for breakfast. While dining at the table you can gaze out through the French doors onto the sunny terrace.

Pop just half a mile along the water to see Damien Hirst’s iconic sculpture Verity, who looks out across the Bristol Channel. Visit St Nicholas Chapel which is steeped in history, before taking a boat trip from the harbour to wildlife-rich Lundy Island to see puffins, seals, and maybe even dolphins. For a change of scenery, Woolacombe (7 miles) boasts a sandy 3-mile-long beach, and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (6 miles) offers fun for all the family.

The property was lovely very clean & tidy.The view was amazing ! It was a bit bare as in no cushions or waste bins in bathrooms.The best thing about this property apart from the view was that it was very cool inside during the heatwave.

The property was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The views were amazing and the location perfect. Everything was within walking distance with lots of fantastic, hilly walks !

Great location as an easy walk to the harbour and town. The apartment was well equipped and offered a good degree of privacy. The views from the patio were beautiful. We had a great stay.

Extremely well equipped and spacious property. There are not enough stars to do credit to the location. The views are stunning. Just a short walk to the town. Highly recommend a meal at Smuggler's Restaurant and Giovanni & Luca Italian Restaurant. Both are amazing, beautiful ambience and good value for money. Property had fantastic views over Ilfracombe harbour and cliffs, although weather was not perfect to enjoy them. The property was clean, tidy and everything worked. Perfect is the best way of describing this place. The views were breathtaking and the apartment was amazing. Everything you needed for a comfortable break away. A fully equipped kitchen. Two comfortable sofas and a spacious lounge that had double doors that opened to that wonderful view. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
