With the harbour, beach, restaurants, and shops all virtually on its doorstep, this property could not be better located for a seaside holiday in picturesque Ilfracombe. Relax whilst gazing out to sea on the private balcony and watch the boats go by, or head out on a coastal adventure to visit the nearby local villages and attractions.

This remarkable penthouse apartment has been fitted and furnished to create a cosy yet airy aesthetic. It is accessed via a few external steps and five flights of stairs, but the views when you get there are spectacular. The decor is contemporary throughout, with homely touches providing ultimate comfort. The magnificent open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the perfect backdrop for catching up whilst cooking up a storm, while the lounge area offers a set of French doors that let in plenty of natural light, as well as looking out on those incredible sea views.

While in Ilfracombe there’s plenty to see and do. Check out Damien Hirst’s Verity on the town’s pier or visit the aquarium (both less than 400 metres), or take a boat trip out to Lundy Island (12 miles) and explore its history. Children will love a day out at The BIG Sheep (24 miles), while Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (7 miles) is perfect for spotting all your favourite animals, from lions and meerkats to penguins and primates.

First appearance looks good, couldn't fault the views. Nice welcome pack including milk & bread. Flaws surfaced as we settled in. Uncomfortable seating, no hanging space. 66 steps to access appartment. Infracombe beautiful.

Fantastic location and a great apartment with stunning views - highly recommended. Cheapest parking is in Ropery Road, just 2 streets away.

Our stay in the penthouse was wonderful! The views from the living room and balcony were beautiful/peaceful and tranquil. This accommodation is in a fabulous location; close to the little beaches around and the walks either to Hele bay or the Torrs walk and Lee beach are beautiful. The view of the sunsets at capstone hill or at the viewpoint past tRead morehe pitch and putt towards hele bay are simply breathtaking. The owner was a great communicator and quick to respond. We had a lovely stay, the apartment was comfortable and the views are spectacular. Well worth the 5 flights of stairs. The owner is very helpful and contacted us very quickly with one question I had that was answered immediately. We were greeted by a generous welcome basket, a lovely touch. apartment is very close to the lovely harbour and all the Read moreamenities that Ilfracombe has to offer. What a beautiful central Ilfracombe apartment. Absolutely stunning view of the sea, local to incredible fresh fish shops & all amenities. Bus stop right outside to explore further such as Woolacombe. I enjoyed several weeks here and would recommend this to all of my loved ones to book. Thank you so very much

Beautiful apartment, modern decor, fully equipped kitchen, bright and airy with a fantastic views. Close to all amenities, everything you need right on the doorstep. Area great for dog owners, welcome in most places and plenty of areas to walk. We found the stairs to the apartment a challenge at times, but well worth the view.

Pros: Nice apartment with a great view over the sea from longe and balcony. Owner very helpful. Close to plenty of good restaurants. Plenty to keep adults and kids and dogs entertained during the day. Cons: No parking. I paid 105 for the week in nearest car park. Apartment is up 3 flights of stairs which makes it hard work getting luggage up. TakeRead more ear plugs as Ilfracombe sea gulls are the noisiest in the world and apparently dont sleep. Hide

Great little flat. Sea views from the balcony and you can see the harbour and town from the bedrooms. Great location near the harbour, pubs, restarurants etc. The owner is also very helpful.

Very nice apartment, we were not disappointed, lovely location, although be aware that the 5 flights of stairs to get to it, could be a challenge to some who are less able, and parking outside is not often an option.
