Close to two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Devon/Dorset border, a trip to Monkton Wyld is perfect for family reunions and guests of all ages. Fill your days with trips to the beach, visits to the local aquarium and walks along the South West Coast Path before letting little ones bounce the night away on the trampoline and snuggling up by the wood burner. With a gorgeous orchard and a BBQ for al fresco evenings, the outdoor space is just as beautiful as the interior.

Bursting with charm, this gorgeous farmhouse is full of tranquil tones and cosy comforts. Fire up the wood burner to transform the lounge into a relaxed space worthy of film nights, games nights and quiet evenings catching up. Perfect for meals together, the dining room has room for everyone to take a seat and has a pair of bookcases filled with videos, board games and books for you to enjoy post-dinner. Outside, younger guests will love the treehouse and grown-ups can take a stroll around the pretty orchard and the terraced gardens before firing up the BBQ. Drift off in one of four bedrooms which are dotted around the house; please take care of internal steps between rooms. Please note: Stag or Hen parties are not permitted at this property.

Enjoy a day of golden sands, glittering seas and gorgeous views on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. With something for everyone, the bustling seaside town of Lyme Regis (5 miles) boasts a historic Cobb harbour, dog-friendly beaches, an aquarium and places to whet your appetite. The South West Coast Path is perfect for waterside walks and if you fancy a hike, make the 7.5-mile trip from Lyme Regis into Devon and visit Seaton Beach.

Beautiful comfortable cottage. Ideal for dog owners as easily accessible walks in the woods near by. Really good for families. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need with a very high spec. And lots of games and books available in the dining room. Cosy comfortable sofas

A lovely holiday property, set in a mature garden, with an amazing view. The cottage is extremely well equipped and was a lovely place to stay for a family get together followed by some quiet time. This is the best cottage we have stayed in, it was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and we had a wonderful week here. The location was fantastic and the gardens were beautiful. An absolutely beautiful property set in picturesque and tranquil countryside. The property was very welcoming and spotlessly clean equipped with everything we needed. Absolutely stunning farm house, so much more than what you see on the website. Amazing views from every window. Enough room for 7 adults plus comfortably. They had thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay. The wildlife was amazing we saw foxes badgers and so many different birds including owls. Could not have asked for more. Our family of mum, dad, 3 grown up children, 2wives, a toddler, a baby & 2 dogs have had the best week at Lower Pound farm. A beautiful cottage, very well equipped, spacious and clean with a very pretty garden. It had everything we all needed. Plenty of hot water for us all. We loved feeding the birds & were treated to a woodpecker family visiting.Read more The horses in the next field were a treat for the little ones & the views from the garden were lovely. Perfect house for a large family holiday. Near the coast and set in the English countryside. Perfectly equipped. You could just turn up with your clothes and find everything else you need. Tesco is nearby. Home from home relaxing setting

We found this a lovely and well equipped house and garden. We were surprised how many steps there were and if you have mobility problems this may be an issue. We would recommend this cottage to friends

We love the cottage. As 2 families the cottage is perfect in terms of size and space both inside and outside. It is well equipped, clean, welcoming and we couldn't ask for anymore. Perfect location to relax, recharge and explore further afield. We hope to book again soon.

A spacious farmhouse in a secluded location which was perfect for our extended family - 5 adults and 2 children. The kitchen is well equipped and the accommodation comfortable. A clean, warm and extremely welcoming house in a beautiful location. It was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The owner welcomed us with a phone call and we felt she was easily reachable if we had a problem. The cosy, spacious lounge with it beautiful inglenook fireplace and log burner was an absolute joy.
