Brilliant house to stay in for a big family, the games room was perfect and great that it had so much space and nearly every room has its own bathroom which is really handy when there is a lot of you. Brilliant location and super friendly hosts. We will definitely be back. Thank you

We loved spending Christmas at Beacon Cottage. It was a wonderful place to get the extended family together, and an easy walk into Bideford as an added bonus! We enjoyed walks down to the waterfront and stunning views from the house. I would definitely recommend it and would love to return with a group again. It's fantastic for family holidays

Its a great property if travelling as a large group or with several families. Having as many bathrooms meant we had our own spaces. We used the large dining table for many meals and the games room was well used plus we watched the massive TV. The big garden was great for the two dogs and the hot tub, although very hot, was also used a few times. TaRead moreke towels if intend to use the hot tub as not enough were provided although theres a washing machine and take soap for the bathrooms. Hide

We had a lovely holiday at Beacon house. It was clean and tidy and fairly well equipped. My only criticism is the design of the 4 stair gates, which. are a serious trip hazard whilst going up and down the stairs.

A good sized and spacious house that easily handled the eight of us for the week. Plenty of cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils for cooking. The games room was a boon especially with the inclement weather we've just had. The bedrooms were large and comfortable.

A lovely house with plenty of space which is spread over 4 floors including the basement which has a pool table in. The living room has a very large TV bigger than the one in the pictures which comes with full sky package and Netflix. It is within easy walking distance to Bideford along the River Torridge footpath and there is plenty to do in the aRead morerea. Hot tub was a bonus and the owners were on hand living in the adjoined property and great at resolving an issue we had. Would highly recommend. Hide

Our family of 6 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 small children and 1 cockerpoo really enjoyed staying at Beacon House. There were several games of cricket (soft ball and facing away from the greenhouse!) and much laughter. The house is well situated for the Tarka Trail and other walks, as well as the surrounding beaches.
