Enjoying a fantastic position in the heart of the thriving fishing town of Brixham, this attractive four-storey property is close to the beach and is an ideal base for exploring the quaint villages, picturesque market towns and sandy beaches of the English Riviera, or for heading inland towards the dramatic landscapes of Dartmoor.

Stepping into this tastefully decorated property, you will find an attractive ground-floor kitchen/diner which is well-equipped with everything you may need to prepare and enjoy your favourite meals. The delightful dining area leads out onto a balcony where you can sit back and relax with a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Exploring further, the stylish lounge is perfect for unwinding in, with plenty of seating and a Smart TV. There is also a charming snug with a TV and PlayStation 4. Two cosy bedrooms can be found on the first floor: a king-size room with a Smart TV and sea views, and a triple bunk bedroom (with a single bed over a double bed). The final bedroom can be found on the second floor: a master king-size room with Smart TV, en-suite shower room and a Juliet balcony looking out to sea.

Brixham offers a fantastic range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as attractions including the Golden Hind Museum Ship, Shoalstone Pool, Berry Head National Nature Reserve and St Mary's Bay. Local attractions include Paignton Zoo (6 miles), the National Trust's Greenway (5 miles) and Coleton Fishacre House (5.5 miles). There are numerous sandy beaches to discover and this is a great base for exploring the Dart Valley, Torquay (9 miles) and Dartmoor (18 miles).

We had a lovely stay at Nomad Retreat. The house was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. We loved the decking where we could sit and watch the boats. The location is great for walking down to the harbour for a walk and food and drinks. Would highly recommend the Nomad Retreat!

A delightful and very comfortable place to stay - we swam in the nearby fishcombe bay every day, walked along the coastal path in both directions, visited dartmoor, dartmouth and did the round robin trip from paignton train station.

What a wonderful place to stay, clean, comfortable and so much attention to detail in terms of guest comfort which was much appreciated . The view across the harbour and the sea beyond is simply stunning. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

All you need for a holiday home in Brixham. Great facilities with everything you require provided. Clean and tidy spread over the four floors. Close enough to walk into town with lots of fine Gastropubs and Restaurants. Will return. Tom and Jennie, Bexhill-on-Sea. September 23.

Absolutely stunning property! The house was so clean and welcoming. Felt at home straight away. All modern appliances and ready to use just takes all the stress away. Amazing views of the harbour life sitting on the two verandas watching the fishing boats coming & going. We were lucky enough to see dolphins & seals in the harbour. Brixham village iRead mores a short walk with the bars, cafes & restaurants. I can't recommend The Nomad Retreat enough. Wish we could have stayed longer! Hide
