Closer to home, take time to explore the pretty town of Great Torrington and walk part of the famous Tarka Trail along the beautiful river Torridge, perhaps stopping off for a cream tea on the way back. For a family day filled with fun, head to The Big Sheep, an amusement park like no other where you can meet the animals and have a wild time on the rollercoasters.
