Everything you would wish for in a holiday cottage, Woodland Cottage has. The house was immaculately clean, the kitchen equipment was brilliant and the house was very dog friendly. It made a perfect base for exploring the local area with several dog friendly pubs close by. We were sad to leave.

Firstly I must say that this was one of the cleanest holiday cottages weve ever stayed at (and weve stay at quite a few over the years !) It has a lovely homely feel to it and had everything you need. It was warm and cosy dispute the awful weather we had during our stay. A nice walk from the front door into the village, which had a great pub calledRead more The Swan which served wonderful food and the staff are lovely and welcoming and very dog friendly. We would definitely recommend it. Hide

Excellent location and well maintained property. The property is well equipped, very clean and very comfortable with a helpful information folder. The footpath at the rear of the property which goes to the village enables you to walk to the village safely (no vehicles). This would enhance the stay without need to drive. The three bedroom with two dRead moreouble beds very good. We would certainly stay here again much longer next time as we we only stayed 3 nights. Hide

A comfortable cottage in a very quiet location overlooking woodland, but within easy walking distance of the town. The Swan pub is very friendly with good food and welcoming to dogs too. NT Knighthayes isn't far and was a great place to walk our spaniel off lead, with other walks on Exmoor within an easy drive. We would be happy to stay again.

Lovely property with a few minor niggles, the children liked riding their bikes to the park in the village along the quiet lane, and the location was good for making day trips to Exmoor, and the south / north Devon coasts.
