A lovely house in a peaceful location. Very clean, tidy and well equipped. A lovely walk down a lane alongside a brook takes you to the beach and Sea Shanty cafe. The house is accessed down single track lanes, but there are passing places. The village has 2 pubs, a forge, a tea room and bakery and a playground.

Beautiful place. Quiet peaceful Zen. Everything we could have wished for and more. Memories made in a wonderful homely place to stay. Roads are tight to get down to but nothing I did not expect. Fully recommend this place as a home base for walks or traveling out for the day.

We had a lovely time at Bridgemead at Branscombe. The house is spacious and cozy, the garden is beautifully landscaped and has sun all day. The icing on the cake is the soothing sound of the babbling brook. The location of the house is ideal for walks in nature, through the village or to the beach. Many sights in the area can be quickly reached by Read morecar. From the bedrooms at the back of the house you have a beautiful view of the old church in the hills. A fantastic, cosy and comfortable cottage in an absolutely stunning location. Warm, spacious and well equipped, the cottage is in the centre of a lovely village with two very different, but great pubs and a short walk to the beach with a cafe. I imagine the bus service would be really useful at busier times of the year. A lovely house in the centre of the village, very handy for short walks to the Masons Arms inn and to the sea shore with its excellent cafe. We used the bus on several occasions, to Sidmouth, Beer and Seaton; the bus stop being situated just across the road from the house.
