Whether you’re dining alfresco in the warm weather or snuggling up on the sofa in front of the TV, you’ll find your favourite spot here. The property is laid out in a reverse-level style and is fresh and bright with excellent use of white tones paired with splashes of colour. The open-plan living area is filled with light, making it the ideal place for delving into a good book on the sofa in the day, but it has a cosy feel in the evening that’s great for having laid-back meals at the table. Enjoy a sumptuous shower in either of the walk-in showers among beautiful neutral tiles before slipping between the sheets in a wonderful woodland-style bedroom.

Make a trip to Becky Falls Ancient Woodland Park (14.5 miles) where river walks and stunning scenery will keep you occupied for hours; it’s also perfect if you’ve brought little ones. Wander the ruins of Okehampton Castle (10.5 miles) or soak up the history of Dartmoor at the Museum of Dartmoor Life (10 miles). A warm comfortable retreat. Loved the open plan upstairs and the big hallway downstairs with a Victoria sponge waiting for us on the side. This is the second time weve stayed here. Ideally placed for where we spend most of our time on Dartmoor.

Super property very clean and spacious and well equipped with everything you'd probably need. Ideally situated to explore Devonshire and the surrounding area. The owner Jackie was lovely and welcoming and the cake and biscuits was very thoughtful and extremely tasty. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
