Sitting close to the wild Exmoor coast, escape to this tranquil home for a getaway filled with beach days and clifftop hikes. Relax in sumptuous style and admire the views through bi-fold doors whilst cosying up by the roaring wood burner post-adventure or take a drink outside and bask in the fresh air. Keep the evening’s chef company from the large, inviting sofa or perch at the breakfast bar and lend a helping hand. If the sun graces you with its presence, the large, enclosed garden is a wonderful place to bask in the warmth and take in the views whilst the terrace offers somewhere to dine alfresco and enjoy sundowners. A comfortable, spacious and well presented cottage and garden in a beautiful location within yards of the South West Coastal Path. It is safe for small children, with a well-fenced garden, though you would need to bring your own travel cot and high chair. Hard floor surfaces throughout mean that it is easy to keep clean.

Lovely views from Heddons view. Lots of lovely walks to be had from here too. It is very remote with the nearest pub about 1/2 hour walk (uphill on way back). Enjoyed our stay. Just need to ensure there is cutlery for 6 and an airer for clothes to dry as even though we went away in August the weather wasnt warm enough to dry clothes outside.

We had a great stay here. A beautiful bungalow with spacious garden, perfect for dogs & children to play in. Comfortable beds and a homely feel. The location is great for exploring exmoor, and also the north Devon beaches. It is remote - 10 mins to the local shop. Owners were very helpful with early entry and fixing an issue the same day when the TRead moreV broke. Garden is enclosed but the neighbours dogs jumped in over the fence a couple of times, worth bearing in mind if yours is reactive! Hide

The cottage was in a pretty location and although able to take six people only had cutlery for four people. The cottage instructions were a little brief as the gates were broken and we were not made aware. There was also a boiling water tap which we were not aware of. There was also a planned power cut whilst we were there which we found out about Read morefrom the builders next door but were not informed of. Other than that we managed to see lots in the local area. Hide

Lovely house and great location for visiting the many local villages and beaches. Garden views excellent and house well equipped for couples or families. Very quiet location - ideal for a get-away in the depths of Exmoor. No local stores but a nice restaurant a mile away. The coastal walk was nearby, accessed up a steep hill and across a field. There was building work going on next door but we didn't personally find it a problem.
