This cosy and comfortable semi-detached cottage situated in a pretty Devonshire village is a great base from which to enjoy the North Devon coast.

Enjoy the best of Devon from this cottage in the village of Woolfardisworthy. Sleeping four guests, and welcoming two of their canine companions, the two-bedroom holiday home is ideally located for country walks and days out along the coast. Explore the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; dip in the sea at Clovelly, 3.5 miles away, and visit the many beauty spots and attractions of this picturesque corner of the county.

Wander into the homely cottage and find yourselves in the bright kitchen/diner. Make a cup of tea to enjoy at the table with a slice of cake or a scone, and find you have everything you need to prepare hearty meals with the fresh ingredients you have bought on your shopping trips. Make your way into the lounge to light the wood burner on chilly evenings and settle down together in front of a good film on the Smart TV. At the end of each fun-filled day, climb the cottage-style stairs up to the double bedroom, which has a TV, or the single, with an extra pull-out single bed. Find the family bathroom also at this level. Bask in the summer sunshine out in the enclosed garden while the children and pups play close by. Look out for the many birds in the trees and shrubs and find plenty of off-street parking close by.

Keen walkers might like to venture 1.5 miles from the cottage to pick up the South West Coast Path, with its glorious views. Take the children to the Milky Way Adventure Park, 2.5 miles away, or the North Devon Wake Park, about the same distance. Plan day trips into Bideford, 9 miles away, to go shopping in the enticing independent shops, dine out in a choice of restaurants and visit the historic Pannier Market.

A very rural small semi-detached house which is very well equipped and a bonus with a log burner. Central heating and shower was comfortable and ample for the Early Spring Season. Great little safe and enclosed garden for the dog. The beds were really comfy and it was silent at night, no street lights, lovely. Don't go down the B roads as lots of lRead morearge pot holes. Swallows Return is a lovely cottage in a very rural setting. It is exceptionally well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The garden is nice and secure, even our nosy spaniel couldn't find a way out!! A 5* cottage with absolutely everything your heart could desire! Took 2 dogs and they had the best time. Loved the location. Visited Westward Ho Beach by the North Devon Surf Club and Sandymouth Beach. Both ace beaches for dogs. Look for Harding M D when using Google maps to find cottage. This cottage is down some very narrow lanes, opposite a farm, its well equipped and comfortable everyone slept so well, garden perfect for dogs, slight damp smell in lounge, but overall a lovely little place.

The cottage is well set up for your stay. Garden is a perfect retreat for you and your dogs. Be aware that the surroundng roads are very narrow but we didn't experience any problems as the traffic flow was light. Initially we struggled to find the property but found putting in Stroxworthy helped. The garden was useful for the dogs as we found we diRead moredn't want to walk the dogs on the narrow lanes. My family and I (2 adults, 2 children) enjoyed a fabulous weekend at Swallows Return. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need. It is very cosy and nicely presented, and we instantly felt at home there. A quiet cottage with safe enclosed garden for the dogs. Warm and cosy especially with the wood burner. Lots of equipment in the kitchen and the bed was comfy. Thank you for the human and doggy treats on arrival, appreciated by all.

Very comfortable little cottage and great to have a welcoming drink and snack from the owners! Although the cottage is in a small development next to the cheese farm, we found a path to walk the dog where there were also fields that she could be let loose. The cottage was cosy and comfortable and very well equipped. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs. The location was within easy reach of the coast and the main road to Bude, Bideford and Barnstaple. We had a lovely time exploring the coast and beaches. Can't think of anything that could have made this stay any better as it was just perfect ,lovely house nicely furnished and very clean in a lovely setting with birds and hedgehogs for company we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were disappointed when the time came to leave and would definitely look to return in the future.
