Should you choose to spend a day relaxing on the beach, head 7 miles to Bigbury-on-Sea with its sandy beach and access to Burgh Island. Animal lovers should head to Dartmoor Zoo (5.5 miles) or Paignton Zoo (17.5 miles), and history lovers will enjoy a trip to the historic naval city of Plymouth (13 miles).
