Discover the heart of the abode is its open-plan kitchen/lounge/dining area, where you will find all the equipment you need to prepare delicious dinners with the fresh produced you have bought on your excursions, plus a handy washer/dryer for damp clothing after country walks. Lay the table for two and dine together before heading over to the comfortable seating to settle in front of the Smart TV for the rest of the evening. Pull open the glass doors on warm evenings and wander outside with a glass of wine as the sun goes down. Find your bedroom has a king-size bed, plus an en-suite bathroom, with a shower above the bath, and another Smart TV, for lazy mornings in bed. Take breakfast out on the patio on sunny days and find parking for two cars at the barn.

Cosy and very comfortable and in a very peaceful location. Despite the wind and rain, the barn was very cosy. Looking forward to visiting again. Lovely to be able to let the dog out into the enclosed garden.

Beautifully appointed throughout, clean, modern and set in a tranquil location for those wanting to simply chill out. Lounge furniture somewhat low for more elderly clients. Dining chairs badly repaired and probably in need of replacing.

Very peaceful remote location, with a comfortable sofa and bed. Lovely views. Single track approach after turning off the road from High Bickington, with a few passing places. This was our third holiday at this property, so we knew what to expect.

We had a fantastic stay! The Shepards Barn has every thing you need for a comfortable break away. It was lovely and clean and the bed super comfy. The views are great and because of its remote location, its incredibly peaceful. The local village is only a 20 min walk away and the community store is a little gem, so welcoming!!!

A very high quality, comfortable and well equiped cottage. The views from the patio were amazing and it was lovely to return and sit outside on the sofas watching the sheep and the wildlife. The barn is quite isolated and some distance from shops, especially as the lane to the nearest village was closed when I stayed, so I was glad I'd brought someRead more supplies from home.
