Plymouth is just a few miles to the north and is a fabulous base for keen walkers discovering the sheltered coves, sandy beaches, quaint villages and spellbinding countryside of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Entering this breezy and fresh detached property, head up the oak staircase which opens directly into the open-plan first-floor lounge/kitchen/diner. Featuring a characterful apex ceiling with light flooding in through the skylights, this is an ideal space to unwind in. The central dining area is perfect for sharing a romantic meal which you can cook in the light and fully equipped kitchen. The lounge is perfect for snuggling up together with a movie on the Smart TV, and features patio doors which open onto a charming glass-fronted balcony. There’s plenty of space here to dine alfresco and to take in the stunning views across to Great Mewstone. Returning to the ground floor you will find the cosy king-size bedroom along with a refreshing and stylish bathroom. Patio doors lead from the bedroom into the garden which features a lawn and outdoor furniture.

The picturesque village of Wembury has some friendly pubs and restaurants and is known for a gorgeous sandy beach popular for its surfing and rock pools. There’s plenty to see in the area, with local attractions including Wembury Marine Centre, Wembury Woods and Wembury Point. Plymouth (7 miles) has plenty of great places to eat and drink as well as popular attractions including the Barbican, The Box and Plymouth Hoe.

Great location for access to SW coastal path, good local shop about 15min walk away , good local pub about same distance. Great position with wonderful view. Well maintained. During our week we had every type of weather Britain could throw at us, you can't control that.

Lovely place, warm and comfortable and very well situated within walking distance of the beach. Great views of the sea too, from the living room and the balcony. We had a wonderful time - and so did the dog!

Lovely upside down modern property with all the facilities you could wish for. Glorious view down the valley & to sea and an ideal location for lovely coastal walks in both directions to Plymouth and Newton Ferrers/Noss Mayo resp...............Andy & Sally were lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble so definitely one to return too.

Beautiful, well equipped property, owners had thought of everything. Lovely views from the balcony. Just a short stroll down to the beach and the coast path. Had some great walks and enjoyed the local area. Cafe on the beach is great for pasties, coffee, cake etc. Owners are really friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend Little Eddy for a perfect, relaxing escape. The property was immaculate with everything provided for a comfortable stay and was located in a beautiful, peaceful setting with fabulous seaviews from the lovely balcony. Wembury Beach and its scenic, coastal walks are on the doorstep and the amazing, historic city of Plymouth Read morewas easily reached by car or The Mount Batten Ferry. This was a lovely eco property with everything you would expect in an up market holiday let. It was all new and of a good quality. There was a wonderful view from the first floor open plan kitchen/dinner/lounge, of the sea and nearby island. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Beautifully appointed modern apartment with super balcony looking out to sea. Ten minute walk down to beach (and 20 minutes back.) Private parking. Visiting Plymouth is easy via the Mountbatten ferry. Recommend the Barbican and The Box. Good walks along Coast Path both east and west.

Little Eddy was a perfect place to unwind. Lovely and modern and fantastic views from the lounge. Just down the hill is Wembury Beach with a delightful little Cafe currently opening on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm. Coastal Walks are a must with stunning views. Andy and Sally were perfect hosts, extremely helpful with places to go and puRead morebs to visit for lunch or dinner. The Mussel Inn at Down Thomas and the Eddystone Inn at Heybrook Bay being our favourites. Top accommodation!! Hide
