I would recommend this cottage to everyone. We were three generations and a dog and had everything we needed. There was extra equipment in a cupboard for younger ones and our eight year old grandchild loved her pebbles room. The park is opposite, excellent for first and last walks of the day with the dog and is also so well equipped for children. TRead moreown and the quay are close by with access to the Tarka trail. We could not have had a more comfortable and easy Christmas to suit all family members. Hide

An enjoyable stay in a lovely property close to town centre and the fantastic Victoria Park which is so handy for dogs. Makes a great location for exploring local areas and recommend Instow beach for dog walking.

We found our stay comfortable and relaxing, the area is quiet and overlooks a park near the estuary. The property was well equipped for a family; we enjoyed our Christmas stay there. The owner was great at communicating with us and was very generous in accommodating our arrival and departure times. There is parking available nearby, varying from 4 Read morehours on street to all day in a car park. The property is well situated to explore Devon with great access to beaches and costal walks. If you don't have a car this is a perfect location. Otherwise you need to park some distance away but you can get weekly tickets from Torridge Council.

The house was very nice but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, crumbs left in toaster trays from previous visitors, very dusty, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned the shower waste was dirty and the glass had soap marks on it. The skirting board at the back of the bed looks like it hasn't been cleaned for months and the floors weRead morere dirty. There were no cleaning materials to clean the bathroom. Bideford is lovely, but if I go back I'll look for somewhere else to stay. Hide

We had a lovely week at this home, with all mod cons, wifi, TV streaming, and plenty kitchen utensils etc. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Good space at back to sit out. Owner was available on the phone for any queries.
