Anvil Cottage is like a tardis. Its so much bigger than it first appears. It is a lovely, comfortable cottage. Its really well equipped for self catering. The location is perfect, with easy access to main roads.

Had a short stay at Anvil cottage. Good location for the coast and Barnstaple amenities. Parking not always outside the cottage but near enough, not a problem. Neighbours really friendly. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable (soft). Sofas were new and comfortable. Spacious kitchen as is loft bedroom. Some floors not clean enough. Coat hooks,Read more a blind, loo flush and loo roll holder broken, bathroom mould. Small things but all need attention. Could be great but we won't return to check. Hide

This large, old cottage has been beautifully renovated. It has a fully equipped, large kitchen. There is a two-level outdoor seating area in the backyard with a barbecue and two tables. There is a Netflix account. Parking on the street in front of or across from the house was never a problem, there was always plenty of room. It's in a good locationRead more to visit the North Devon coast, Exmoor, and other places of interest, such as Rosemoor Garden and Hartland Abbey. Hide

Very clean and comfortable, ideal for my needs, love the furnishings and fittings, love the local milk, thanks for the scones, cream and jam and also the fruit, lovely touch. So quiet, and lovely to hear the birds singing in the morning. Ideal location, minutes from the mania if you need it. Lovely Hosts. Look forward to returning.

Anvil cottage is very deceptive from the outside. On entering it's like stepping into the tardis! We were a party of 6, and found the cottage very spacious and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen
