You also have the local pub within a few hundred metres when you don’t feel like cooking, or you might prefer to take the short stroll into Barnstaple’s town centre for a wider range of eateries.

Alternatively, you might prefer to take to the South West Coast Path and experience the coast from a different perspective. Heading north, you can explore the dramatic and varied landscapes of Exmoor National Park, with popular towns like Lynton and Lynmouth only 18 miles away. Families can also enjoy days out at award-winning attractions The Big Sheep and Exmoor Zoo (within 13 miles).
