Nestled in the stunning Devon countryside, this is a wonderfully romantic spot for you and your loved one. Spend your days wandering walking routes, soaking up the sun at the beach or trying out some water sports activities.

This lovely shepherd’s hut is deceptively spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. Head inside and find a useful kitchen area with hob, fridge, and microwave. To one end of the hut is a raised sleeping area with double bed and lovely views out of the window. An en-suite shower room completes the hut. Outside is a lovely garden area with furniture and a BBQ. If you have your canine companion in tow, guests are welcome to use the enclosed orchard to let them run free.

We had such a lovely stay at Shepherd's Hut! From when we arrived in the evening and Sally came to check to make sure everything was okay and on our first morning too. Cosy and perfect size for the two of us and our dog. Really clear directions on how to get there and even had some scones with cream and jam in the hut for when we arrived. Well equipped, took things that I didnt need to, like tea towels, washing up liquid, cloths etc. Fridge could have been a bit bigger, current one was not cold enough.

Had a great holiday at Ivy Cottage Shepherds Hut, and really felt like we got away from it all. It was a superb location and so nice to sit outside in the evenings and cook on the barbeque. It is very dog friendly in Devon and dog (Bella, French bulldog) had a lovely time too! Can't recommend highly enough.

We did enjoy our time here. The mattress was an issue... it felt thin with little support. Access/movement was difficult on/off the bed... probably our own limitations did not help. Enjoy a truly off grid break in lovely remote location, which me & the dog loved. Bring a good book, your own wine and switch off. Theres tea, milk & scones on arrival - nice touch. Fenced in space is another dog friendly bonus.

Had a lovely stay, was lovely, quiet and private. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again. The owner popped over to make sure we was ok and that was our only contact, which was perfect for us. The welcome gifts were amazing and delicious.
