Set over three floors, this grand country house exudes spacious elegance. After exploring Exmoor National Park, leave your boots in the hall and head into the rustic living room, with plenty of comfy seating to hunker down and warm chilly toes beside the wood burner. Admire beautiful views of the extensive garden in the conservatory before gathering the gang for a big celebration in the generous dining room adjoining the conservatory. In the breakfast room, you can enjoy a more intimate meal you’ve prepared in the farmhouse-style kitchen. As day turns to night, retreat to any of the five en-suite bedrooms on the first floor, or the three bedrooms comprising the second floor, which all feature a charming traditional aesthetic. Outside, slip into the wonderful undercover hot tub or sauna whilst children and four-pawed friends play in the extensive lawn amongst the woodland scenery.

Dating back to Saxon times, the historic town of South Molton centres around a market square surrounded by some impressive architecture housing several independent shops and boutiques with traditional shop fronts. Head to the main square to explore the market held twice a week to sample some of the best local produce this area has to offer. Join up with one of the coastal paths, ramble around a tree-lined valley or scale a steep-sided hill around Exmoor National Park, 6 miles away, to be rewarded with stunning panoramic views over the hilltops and out to sea. Further afield, the golden sandy stretches of Croyde (24 miles), Saunton (20 miles), and Westward Ho! (22.5 miles) are ready for you to discover.
