This stunning and expansive property is an absolute delight. Finished to a very high standard and with plenty of unique finishing touches that make it a truly memorable place. The interiors are spacious and beautiful and sleeping ten guests, it’s ideal for large family get-togethers or reunions with friends. Located on the edge of the pretty fishing village of Appledore with its eateries, shops and galleries, its location is hard to beat too making it the perfect base for a coastal adventure.

Inside this gorgeous property, you’ll find an impressive open-plan living space with fantastic sea views as well as a Smart TV and wood burner in the lounge area, when it comes time to snuggle down for the evening. Bi-fold doors allow the light to stream in and lead out to the decking beyond and there are plenty of places to sit and eat or relax making this the ultimate social hub of the house. From the lounge, you’ll also find a ‘hidden’ staircase leading to a snug in the eaves. There’s another TV here as well as an amazing picture window offering panoramic sea views. The property’s garage also provides storage space, a utility area and houses a pool table and dart board for added entertainment. The home’s five bedrooms are all equally beautiful and have either sea or garden views. Three of the bedrooms on the ground floor - a king with an en-suite, a twin and a double. The ground floor is completed with a stylish family bathroom. Upstairs, the master has a super-king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The final bedroom has a king-size and an en-suite. A nursery with a cot adjoins the master suite. Outside, the garden is tiered and enclosed. It has a pretty patio with plenty of seating to enjoy the view.

The village of Appledore has everything you should need within close proximity. And in the summer you can catch the foot ferry to Instow which has a beautiful sandy beach and more pubs and shops. For walkers, the South West Coast Path is a must, offering mile upon mile of lovely walks. You’re also just 2.5 miles from the vibrant seaside village of Westward Ho! with its sandy beach, iconic pebble ridge and sea pool.

Three generations of our family stayed and enjoyed Bay Ridge. Amazing house, plenty of space (and storage) for everyone, well equipped, fabulous views and great location. Weve stayed in many holiday rentals advertised as great for larger groups - this is the best weve experienced and difficult to imagine it being beaten in the future.

We had an exceptional stay at this holiday let! The breathtaking views from the house added a magical touch to our experience. The bathrooms were luxurious, and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking a delight. A perfect blend of comfort and scenic beauty, earning it a solid 5 stars!

Fabulous property to celebrate my 60th Birthday at with family &friends. Wendy at Dartmoor Dining is an amazing private chef &another evening Candlelight Murder Mystery provided great entertainment. Northam Burrows &Instow beach/coast path were great for dog walking. Loved live music at Beaver/Champ. Hired bikes in Bideford &cycled 9 miles to BarnsRead moretaple &back on old railway line - great cake stop at Fremington. Food ok at Royal George/Beaver/Seagate. Sunday lunch fab at Thatched Inn Abbotsham Hide

Fantastic property, absolutely child friendly with stair gates, hire chair, play room. Would suit anyone with mobility problems (few stairs leading up to the front door) as downstairs bedrooms with on-suite are leading off the lounge/kitchen diner, so everything on the same level with a huge patio area. Absolutely fantastic accommodation, very well equipped, couldnt have asked for better. The views are amazing, very relaxing to sit in the TV room and look out or at the top of the garden. Loved the surprise leading up to the TV room. Furnishings and decor are 2nd to none, best we have ever stayed at.
