Situated on the outskirts of the popular seaside village of Appledore with its shops, pubs and restaurants, this tastefully decorated home is a great place for four guests to enjoy a coastal getaway. The property is an inviting space in which to have a memorable and relaxing stay.
Stepping through the front door and into the hallway, you’ll find space to store outdoor gear before heading through to the cosy lounge/diner with plenty of comfy seating and bi-fold doors that really open up the space to the courtyard garden beyond where you can also sit on the garden furniture and enjoy a meal in warmer temperatures or sneak back inside to relax with a book or a film. The kitchen is well equipped making it easy to prepare meals as if you were at home. Upstairs there are two pretty and well-furnished bedrooms – a double and a twin, both of which share a family bathroom.
Appledore is a quaint village with lots of narrow cobbled streets where you can browse the shops and galleries, grab some traditional fish and chips or to head to the foot ferry (available in summer months) to cross the River Torridge where there is a beautiful stretch of sand at Instow beach. The coastal resort of Westward Ho! is only 3 miles away too and has another impressive stretch of sand as well as loads to keep the whole family happy – from all manner of water sports and walks to crazy golf. For any cyclists in the group, the Tarka Trail can be reached at Bideford and Instow and offers miles of flat cycling in both directions.
