A pretty cottage set within spectacular countryside surroundings, the ideal base for a family or couples. Located near the picturesque village of Clovelly and its famous cobbled streets, this charming home-from-home offers its own dose of quaint, historical charm. With its inviting mix of countryside and coast nearby, you can even enjoy scenic rambles directly from your doorstep in the extensive, mature gardens.

A warm welcome awaits as you enter into the cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its sumptuous sofas, beamed ceiling and exposed brick wall which all adds to the countryside atmosphere. Children can snuggle up together in front of the TV whilst parents keep a watchful eye as meals are prepared in the kitchen; the open-plan arrangement works perfectly for a family or group of friends wanting to spend time together. Head up a spiral staircase to two attractive bedrooms - a double and a twin - and completing the floor plan is a family bathroom. In the courtyard you’ll find the added convenience of a shared utility room. Head outside to explore the gorgeous grounds and witness incredible views. Sit out on an evening on the patio and enjoy the tranquil rural views.

Situated in an area rich in maritime history with dramatic stretches of coastline within easy reach, enjoy a holiday that offers the best of the coast and countryside. The village of Clovelly is just 3.5 miles away and is famed for its iconic, steep cobbled streets, whilst the rugged scenery of Hartland can be reached in 5.5 miles. For traditional seaside attractions and a large swathe of golden sand, Westward Ho! (11.5 miles) s a great place for families.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Lovely homely cottage, set in a lovely rural location, where you get to see lovely sunsets from the garden. Everything you need to make your stay stress free.

Had a really lovely stay. It's a very beautiful quaint little cottage. Perfect garden for the dogs. Plenty of positives however a few things to mention such as the long 2mile dirt track to get in and out of. Limited outside lighting front and rear. Would benefit from more lighting out the front and car parking area as it's pitch black. You also havRead moree to be very careful with the front door as it locks itself. Internet is poor signal. However we had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Hide

Beautiful little house with a nice outdoor space and fabulous views. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Totally recommend this place if you need to unwind. If you are not used to driving in the area, the narrow winding roads take a bit of getting used to.

Lovely stay. The property was even better than in the photographs. Gorgeous gardens, lovely living area, comfy beds, clean rooms and a well equipped kitchen. The cottage was close to the village of Woolsery, a 5 minute drive, which had a decent village shop and a fish and chip shop. Bude and Instow are nearby and there's plenty to do in the local aRead morerea. The Hartland is worth a visit too! Hide

Very nice and cosy cottage in a stunning location. Quiet and peaceful. Everything available, you might need. Only downside: iWe found a lot of pet hairs on the setties and the floor.

Lovely comfortable cottage with beautiful views. The cottage is small but well equipped for our weeks stay. We brought our dogs who had a great time. There is a fabulous area to walk the dogs at the bottom of the garden. Very enjoyable and peaceful holiday.

Very comfortable stay at cedar Cottage, with surrounding lush green rolling hills, sheep on the hillside in the distance and cows in a neighbouring field. Fantastic stress free location to enjoy in all the varieties of Devon and Cornwalls weather. Pretty wild flowers along the walk down to the wildlife pond. Lovely, cosy cottage with fantastic views. Very well equipped. In a great location for getting around Devon and over into Cornwall too. Host was so helpful when I mentioned we would be arriving v late at night and kindly left lights on in the cottage for us. We had a brilliant break & would love to return to this cottage.

Cedar Cottage was lovely. Lots of useful information in the cottage. Very comfortable living area downstairs. Outdoor area was lovely with comfy chairs and table. Views were great over the fields. The wildlife ponds and paths in the grounds were a really nice feature. Had a great time

Great location. Don't turn right and go down that lane I less you have a large 4x4 or a tank :) we really enjoyed our week here. Our dog loved it too!

Wonderful cottage in beautiful location with wildlife ponds a short walk from the beautiful garden with stunning views. Cottage is well appointed with all we needed as a family and our dog. Clean and well looked after. Will be returning!

This is a lovely, comfortable cottage with the largest garden, and fabulous countryside views, so very good for our retriever to play in, except when the fence came down and couldnt be fixed before we left. Beautifully clean, and with a good range of crockery and cutlery, we made use of the kitchen most nights and felt at home. We didnt have the beRead morest weather for July, so were happy to be in. Very peaceful and close to some beautiful woods, valleys and beaches for walks. Hide

A lovely quiet location. A comfortable, well appointed cottage that was a great base to explore north Devon. A welcome pack on arrival would have been a nice touch but in the main a lovely location for a relaxing break.

A wonderful bright, clean and well laid out cottage which was well equipped. The shower was fab and the beds all comfy. The large garden was a bonus for the dogs who loved it and the adjacent dog walking field was super. A really quiet and peaceful setting, great for relaxing in and well positioned for seeing the area.

Absolutely lovely little cottage. Well equipped with everything you could need. Good sized bedrooms and a really lovely bathroom. Kitchen was great and had all the equipment you could need in addition to a decent size fridge. Lovely big garden and super walks just behind the cottage.
