Hugging the rising Weare Gifford valley hillside and surrounded by far-reaching views of the North Devon countryside, get a taste of traditional rural village living at the rustic cottage bursting with original features, just moments from the picturesque sandy beaches lining the North Devon and Cornwall coastlines.

Offering glorious views, an exposed brick fireplace and a farmhouse-style aesthetic, experience true peace and tranquillity as soon as you enter the cottage. Rustle up a feast in the kitchen/diner to enjoy special family time seated around the dining table or breakfast bar before following the warmth of the open fire into the cosy lounge to unwind on the comfy sofas. For a moment of calm, hunker down in the cosy snug room opposite and catch up on a good book. Answer the call of bedtime upstairs where you’ll find three bedrooms that each feature a charming, peaceful atmosphere as well as wonderful views of the countryside scenery. Indulge in the superb views across the valley and catch some unforgettable sunsets by dining alfresco on the front patio or by roasting marshmallows on the fire pit tucked away on the hilly rear lawn.

Set on the banks of the River Torridge, the village of Weare Giffard offers everything you’d expect to find in a peaceful rural village; far-reaching countryside views, a beautiful church and a manor house. From countryside to coast, just 9 miles north you’ll reach Westward Ho!, offering 2 miles of golden sand, a unique pebble ridge, perfect surfing conditions and direct access to the idyllic South West Coast Path. Cosy, well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. Owners couldnt do enough to make sure we have a great stay. Storm Gerrit caused a couple of minor issues which were sorted within a couple of hours - impressive when you consider it was Christmas weekend! Hope to be able to go back in better weather so we can explore the area more!

This cottage is new to the holiday scene so with a few minor adjustments it could become a very popular venue.
