Enjoy the peaceful setting at this gorgeous reverse-level barn conversion conveniently located for visiting Westward Ho!’s shops, cafes, and beach. After an exciting day out with your friends or family (including your furry family member), get back and relax upstairs in the stunning open-plan living space next to the cosy wood burner or outside on the patio.

The cottage has heaps of rustic charm, original features, and style and has been furnished to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Go up the external stairs to the front door and into the stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is lovely and light and has an amazing, vaulted ceiling with wooden beams. You’ll want to spend evenings curled up on the sofas watching your latest favourite on the Smart TV, cooking tasty meals in the kitchen area, with everything you need for eating in, and enjoying mealtimes together at the dining table. Head downstairs to bed in the two bedrooms, a classically stylish double room with a lovely wooden bed and an en-suite bathroom, and the pretty twin bedroom, which has a smart en-suite shower room. On sunny days, take a drink out to the patio and sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Head to the beach (less than 1 mile away), 2 miles of golden sands the pup is welcome on 365 days a year (with some restrictions during the summer). Go for a walk along the varied terrain of the beautiful South Devon Coast Path, have a go at surfing, kayaking or paddleboarding. Walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail, take the footpath south along the riverbank to the market town of Bideford (2 miles), or north to the pretty fishing village of Appledore (2 miles).

Beautiful property, very clean and everything you could possibly need is there. Wendy the owner was very responsive to a query I had. I would definitely recommend the Coach house .

Pros: We found the house to be comfortable upstairs. Open plan; nice for socialising, comfortable sofas, equipped kitchen. En suite bathrooms to both bedrooms; a bonus. Double bedroom roomy with a large comfortable bed. Decor lovely throughout. Location good to drive to places. Cons: downstairs freezing constantly despite following thermostat instrRead moreuctions. Beautifully set out cottage just above Westward Ho in village of Northam set back from the main road, beautiful bedrooms and lounge, kitchen. a great getaway in a quiet village only a short walk 30 minutes into Westward Ho. Ideal location for visting North Cornwall and North Devon as most places only 1 hour to 1 hour and half away, We enjoyed 6 nigRead morehts in March through some incredibly different weather and enjoyed our stay here immensely Car parking space is tight for a big car but was do able Hide

We had a lovely week away. The cottage was very comfortable, warm and well equipped and clean. There are plenty of coastal walks and other things to do. We will definitely go back in the spring.

Really lovely cottage, finished to a high standard and furnished really well, everything you need on site and set in a lovely quite area but within walking distance to everything you need. Perfect base to explore Devon or just stay around the lovely Westwood Ho!

Very lovely cottage in very quiet location. Property was very nicely decorated throughout and very well equipped, clean and felt very spacious. The addition of two bathrooms was a bonus. The only downside was the very limited outside space. The parking is very tight and if you have a big car you end up parking next to the table and chairs that are Read moreoutside. Also due to the type of property the stairs down to the bedrooms are narrow and steep, which may be an issue if you have mobility problems. Hide

My husband and I loved this property, high quality finish and equipment was good too. Downstairs where bedrooms located remained beautifully cool. Quiet location but close to beach, coastal path and shops
