This handsome property in the Victorian resort of Ilfracombe sleeps eight in three bedrooms and is ideal for a family getaway by the sea. Welcoming canine companions, too, the house has an enclosed garden which is ideal for BBQs on a warm evening after a day spent at the beach.

With the living areas on its first floor, the house has bedrooms and bathrooms spread across all three storeys. Enter via the hallway with its original tiled floor and you’ll find the first two bedrooms: a king-size (twin on request) with a day bed and a Smart TV, and a twin - which has access to a small sun room. They share a shower room with a WC, while also on this floor are a snug/games room and a utility room with a small kitchen area. Head upstairs to the kitchen, fully equipped for creating snacks, picnics and meals, and the lounge/diner with its welcoming sofas and Smart TV. A double bedroom, shower room and separate WC complete this floor. Finally, up on the top floor is a family room containing a double and a single bed, plus a third shower room with a WC. As well as storage for bikes and surfboards, the outside space includes an enclosed, lawned garden where youngsters and pups can play, plus a patio for al fresco suppers.

There’s no need to move the car as you can walk everywhere from the house. Ilfracombe’s sandy beach is just 400m away, and its shops, galleries, places to eat, cinema and award-winning aquarium are all within a short stroll. When you’ve explored the town, take a boat trip out to Lundy Island and its puffins, walk the coastal path or catch a bus to the popular resort of Woolacombe, just 6.5 miles away.

This property is perfect for larger families or several couples, lots of space and plenty of bathrooms! The house is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, only a short walk into Ilfracombe or a short drive to many local attractions. I cant recommend this property enough, we will definitely be returning.

We found no major problems but could a dishwasher be installed in the main kitchen I found a potential problem with the cooker door it opens up to the adjacent wall and I found that it sprung back quickly catching my knuckles resulting in minor burns to my left hand on two occasions Comfortable furnishings and lots of room Plenty of spaces if you wRead moreanted a few minutes peace and quiet Hide

Clean and functional for a holiday with pets, close to town with all the facilities you would expect.
