Boasting spectacular ocean views across the Atlantic to Lundy Island and just 1 mile from the glorious sands of Westward Ho!, this cottage provides the perfect seaside escape. Warm and inviting, this charming cottage is just the place to return to after long days exploring the North Devon coast. Wake up to the sounds of the sea in the distance and head out to the private courtyard terrace where you can enjoy a delightful brunch while planning the day’s activities.

Step up into the cottage via two external steps and you will find a welcoming lounge, furnished in a smart traditional style with leather sofas and armchairs. Perfect for relaxing with a book by the electric fire, it is also a lovely place to watch a favourite film in the evenings. A large farmhouse-style kitchen table invites you to come together for an evening meal, or on balmy summer evenings, dine alfresco on the courtyard terrace with its far-reaching views out to sea. Children must be supervised if joining you on the balcony.

Just a mile away is the beach at Westward Ho! where you can relax on the spectacular sands. Walk the 2-mile stretch or sit back on the town green, surrounded by fish and chip shops and a traditional sweet shop. The village of Northam is under a mile away and has a good selection of pubs and shops or the larger port town of Bideford (3 miles away) offers an opportunity to join the famous Tarka Trail. Take a ferry out to the granite outcrop of Lundy Island with its fascinating wildlife or visit The BIG Sheep Family Attraction, just 3 miles from the cottage.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Gorgeous cottage and lovely neighbour. Such a shame about the unsightly building site opposite and their noisy 7am start. We parked on the driveway next to the garage due to large lorries passing on the narrow lane. Despite the site, there's still lovely views to Northam Burrows, Braunton and Baggy Point. There were a few minor cleanliness issues bRead moreut all was resolved so wasn't too much of an issue. All In all a cosy, comfy little cottage. Hide
