Very rural location which is lovely and peaceful. Cottage had everything you could possibly need but needs updating and cleaning properly. For the price we expected more. Couldn't see the pond for bushes which was one reason we booked here.

Lovely little spot of tranquility, needs a little TLC but pleasant enough. Be warned if staying in warmer weather, the bedrooms (particularly the single bed room as I believe the water tank is in there) are very very hot so you'd be wise to bring fans

We truly loved every minute of our stay at Lucombe cottage. The cottage its self is equipped with everything you could possibly need and is so cozy but spacious. The cottage is located a short distance from a Tesco express and a larger Tesco is within a reasonable distance. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the private garden to the rear is Read morethe perfect place to sit and relax and enjoy the wildlife. The hosts gave us a lovely warm welcome and were available throughout our stay if needed. There are so many beautiful places to visit locally and would highly recommend Torquay and the river side walk into Exeter. We will definitely stay at Lucombe again in the future. We were so sad to leave and were not ready to go home. Hide
