Set in rolling wooded hills less than 1 mile from Cockington Country Park, this family-friendly cottage boasts an open-plan ground floor, an enclosed patio garden and easy access to an assortment of cultural, historical and natural attractions across the English Riviera.

This thatched cottage, a former mill, is set off a quiet lane in the heart of a chocolate box village above Torquay. Finished to an impeccable standard, its bright and airy rooms are dressed in warm, inviting tones and soft furnishings. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has hard wooden flooring throughout and offers plenty of space for everyone to unwind in comfort, with river and countryside views from numerous windows. A vaulted ceiling and striking views are two key attractions of the first floor, which comprises a spacious king-size bedroom with a mezzanine overlooking the lounge, a twin bedroom in the eaves and a centrally positioned, well-appointed family bathroom. In the lounge, latticed patio doors open into an enclosed patio with a table and seating for al fresco meals and further river and countryside views. Private, off-street parking is available for one car, as is a car parking permit for various local beaches.

Cockington Country Park (0.5 miles) boasts woodland, three ornamental lakes and historical attractions across its 420 acres. Experience Cockington in miniature at Babbacombe Model Village (4 miles), also home to four acres of gardens.
