Overlooking the historic market square in Dartmouth, this fabulous Grade II-listed maisonette apartment is a stylish and sophisticated base for a South Devon retreat. Boasting recently refurbished accommodation, it’s a wonderful setting for a family holiday where you can spend your days on the sandy beaches and your evenings reminiscing about your adventures together at your opulent accommodation.

Inside, the accommodation is arranged over two floors and has been decorated in subtle coastal shades to reflect the location, while retaining much charm and character. The open-plan living/kitchen/dining area is a great space in which to relax , whether rustling up a meal with local seafood, sharing a special dinner together around the dining table or cuddling up on the cosy sofas watching a favourite DVD. The 18th-century larder is a quirky feature, while the butler sink adds a touch of farmhouse charm. The bathroom boasts a decadent roll-top bath for post-walk soaks and, when the day is done, you can retire to the two bedrooms. On the same floor as the living accommodation is the twin bedroom, while the king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room is on the floor above.

Being in the heart of Dartmoor, and just 300 metres from the harbour, you can walk out of the front door and discover the many popular shops, cafes and places to eat on your doorstep. Pick up some local produce at the market on Tuesday and Friday, or visit the monthly farmers’ market. From the harbour, catch the ferry across the river to Kingswear or up the river to Dittisham. If you fancy a day out by the seaside, the nearest beach is Blackpool Sands, 4 miles away, while the whole family will enjoy a visit to Paignton Zoo, 8 miles.

Comfy and well equipped appartment in a fabulous location. The carpark is literally a 2 min walk and we never had a problem parking. You can easily park in the side road to unload for a short while with no issues. You do get lots of noise from the nearby pubs until after kicking out time, so just be prepared as this could be an issue for some, partRead moreiculary with windows open in warm weather. Hide

A lovely apartment ideally located - with a parking permit for a car park a few minutes . Lots of positives - very well equipped , good quality furnishings, spotlessly clean. Has dishwasher , washing machine / dryer. Great range cooker - good size fridge. So very easy to self cater ( excellent deli across the road and M and S food hall a feRead morew minutes walk away ). Comfy beds. Great size main bathroom and a second en-suite. Really appreciated hypoallergenic bedding was sourced and provided for us. The negatives ( well the what might you want to know ). The great location does come with some noise - the seagulls providing most of it !!! The top bedroom does get warm ( there is a fan provided ) There are quite a few stairs - around 50 from front door to top bedroom The smallish Tv in living area was a bit spotty and we had to reset a few times. The lounge area is a strange set up sofa wise if there are more than two of you. That can be seen from photos on the webpage. No welcome pack provided ( fine by us but some might expect tea coffee milk to be there on arrival) Would happily recommend and return. Hide

This is a great flat. Slightly quirky and we felt at home instantly. Spacious and bright. Only minutes away from the harbour, pubs, shops, boat trips and the ferry to Kingswear. Everything was to hand. One of the best extras at the flat is the parking permit for a very near car park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We cannot fault anything, everything was beautiful and the location was amazing! Ideas on things to do/places to go: The Floating Bridge and Kendricks were amazing for food, and the Round Robin Trip is great!
