Step down to the ground floor where there is the final bedroom alongside another bathroom, with the basement level a floor below having handy washing facilities. Back up on the property’s top floor is the main social space – an expansive open-plan living area which is perfect for chatting in with family and friends. Rustle up a meal in the modern kitchen and enjoy it around the dining table or step out to the attractive raised terrace at the rear of the house to drink in the views with a glass of fizz. There is also a further landscaped area with sun loungers where you can soak up the South Devon sunshine.
The waterside village of Kingswear is in a fabulous location and offers easy access into Dartmouth with its winding streets and pretty inner harbour – it’s only 300 metres from the property to the passenger ferry across the River Dart. With several marinas and many deep-water moorings, Kingswear is a sailing haven and it’s also home to the Royal Dart Yacht Club which puts on the annual Royal Regatta at the end of August. You'll find all the local amenities within 0.5 miles including pubs and a very good local shop. Make sure you head to Kingswear station (300 metres) and take the historic steam train to Paignton – it’s a lovely journey where you’ll feel as though you're stepping back in time.
IMPORTANT- Please note that Riversea is located in a restricted area with a narrow road only suitable for very small vehicles, therefore we recommend that you park and walk from Dart Haven to the property. Also be aware that this property may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues as the property is accessed up many concrete steps, is multi level and has many stairs inside the property. This property is for over 12's only due to health and safety with windows on a high level.
