Make yourselves at home in this tastefully presented property, boasting tranquil views across the River Dart and situated in the postcard-perfect village of Kingswear. This elegant retreat is ideal for group gatherings or family getaways with a couple of four-pawed members in tow. Thrill-seekers and nature lovers will delight in gliding through the rippling waters of the River Dart on a guided SUP tour (500 metres), before reclining on the glass-fronted deck with a celebratory bottle of bubbly.

Ascend the steps from the road to the property. This stylish home boasts a fresh coastal interior with crisp tones, sleek soft furnishings, and playful nautical touches. Slip off sandy shoes at the door and pad along the cosy heated flooring to the open-plan living space. Amateur chefs will be in their element experimenting with a variety of locally sourced ingredients in the sleek kitchen. Rope in a willing bartender to zest, shake and pour a selection of refreshing pre-dinner drinks. Slide out the pastel-painted chairs and feast at the dining table bathed in the light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. After dinner, prop open the patio doors then flop onto the sofa with a brew then browse the Smart TV for a crowd-pleaser film. Retire to the three peaceful rooms, consisting of a bright king-size, a double, and a single with an extra trundle bed underneath. Early risers can throw open the French doors and drink in the sweeping estuary views with a coffee in hand.

We enjoyed our stay . The accommodation is furnished to a high standard. The location is excellent and the views across the estuary were lovely to wake up to or take in while having a glass of something refreshing.

We loved stayed at Waterhead View in Kingswear, the cottage is quite small but beautifully furnished and finished to a high standard. The views are fantastic and I'd love to stay in better weather and sit on the terrace! The kitchen was well equipped and we loved that there were basic cupboard items available to use (with a donation to the honestRead morey box), the ferry is close by and there is a very convenient shop, cafe and pub too. Parking is a 5 minute walk and access is quite steep so not suitable for those with more limited mobility or young children. Hide

Overall a great property with fantastic view. It did seem a little smaller than the photos but no issue there. Only thing to improve would be the beds as they werent that comfortable.
