This lovely detached house sits on a small exclusive development located between the popular surfing resort of Westward Ho! and Northam Burrows Country Park. The 4-acre site offers private access to Northam Burrows which is part of the UK's first designated UNESCO Biosphere and adjoins the Royal North Devon Golf Club. With an enviable location and stylish accommodation, it’s the perfect base for a group holiday to the North Devon coast.

On entering the property, you’ll come to a spacious open-plan living area, with a family room complete with a wood burner, a well-designed kitchen area and a comfortable dining suite. On sunny days, open the bi-fold doors to the garden to extend the dining space. There is also a useful utility room with a door to the outside, ideal for storing beach equipment. The ground-floor King bedroom with an en-suite is ideal if a member of your party has reduced mobility, and has access to a lovely patio. On the first floor is a master suite with a private balcony – perfect for a quiet sundowner – alongside another spacious bedroom and a family bathroom. After days out at the beach, relax in the enclosed garden and soak up the sea air.

Enjoying a prime coastal location, the property is within 1 mile of the beach and all village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Perfect for an activity holiday, the 2-mile stretch of golden sand offers an opportunity to enjoy many water sports, while the beach is also well-loved by families. There is so much to explore within easy driving distance including the incredible landscapes of the Hartland Peninsula (15 miles), the historic fishing village of Appledore (2 miles) and the Elizabethan port town of Bideford (3 miles), while kids will adore The Big Sheep (3.5 miles) and the Milky Way Adventure Park (10.5 miles).

We really enjoyed our stay at beach house and this was the second visit here. Property is very clean x spacious x had everything we needed for the perfect family holiday.

This is a fabulous holiday property for families and super dog friendly. Superb location, high spec, great outside space, ample parking with electric charging. Excellent to access Westward Ho! And great base to explore the wider county. Highly recommend

We had a lovely stay at Beach House. The accommodation was very well equipped and had everything we needed for a family holiday. Beach House is very clean, comfortable, homely, spacious and well maintained. It is well situated for the local shops and the beach; both are an easy 10 minute walk away. The window shutters work well for privacy. HowRead moreever in the bedrooms, when the shutters are closed at night, they do let some light in, so this is something to be aware of if you prefer a darker room for sleeping. Hide

Couldn't recommend this beautiful property more, is even nicer and more spacious than the pictures show with lovely homely touches. Had everything we could need and more and is in a great location. Will definitely be booking again.

We had an amazing family holiday staying at the The Beach House. The attention to detail was excellent, with the property easily accommodating our family of 7. The Beach House was extremely clean and well equipped. It is local to the beach and supermarket and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need for a week away. Shame it couldn't guarantee the weather as that would have made it perfect.
