Situated in a hillside location, less than 1 mile from the centre of Dartmouth, this semi-detached house offers spacious and modern accommodation that’s perfect for a family holiday to South Devon. Spend your days exploring everything this beloved town has to offer and your evenings dining out at the many restaurants nearby or relaxing in the garden.

As you enter the property, you will pass the pretty front garden before taking 17 steps up to the front door. Inside, there is an open-plan living/dining room with a wood burner – the perfect place to unwind together after a day on the water. Step through to the utility room and kitchen which has everything you need to enjoy family meals. On the first floor are the property’s two bedrooms – both decorated in restful tones for a good night’s sleep – as well as a family bathroom and cloakroom. Open the back door in the kitchen to discover the rear courtyard and garden which is a lovely spot for some al fresco dining as you plan the next day’s adventures.

It’s easy to walk down the hill into Dartmouth from this cottage and, if you don’t fancy the walk back up, there’s a bus stop only a few metres away. Dartmouth has so much to see and do, whether you want to visit the museum, browse the shops, enjoy some locally landed fish in a restaurant or take a boat trip on the River Dart. Take the ferry across the river to Kingswear from the harbour (1 mile), or up the river to Dittisham, for a fun day out. If you want to spend a day on the beach, Blackpool Sands is only 3.5 miles away.

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many local events and festivals in the area like the Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Brixham Pirate Festival, Devon County Show.

I thought the property at 2 townstall road was ideal for myself and my friend, it was spacious, comfortable, and good value for money. It is a little outside the town, something I enjoyed, a decent stroll up the hill after an evening out. I would recommend this to most people and would definitely stay again.

Although the property is up above Dartmouth it is easy and a lovely walk down to the town, with the added bonus of the 90 Bus stop just a few yards from the house like your own taxi service if you fancy a bus back up the hill in the evening. Best equipped self catering Ive stayed in thought of everything small utility with washing machine and tumbRead morele dryer. Really comfortable corner sofa for relaxing in the evenings have recommended to friends and family already. Added bonus a decked garden with BBQ and garden furniture Hide

Excellent location. Parking available in nearby road.Well equipped spacious house.10 min walk to town.Enclosed garden for our dog.Great stay thank you. No bbq on arrival but the owner organised a new bbq the next day.

Perfect accommodation, perfect location. Very homely, well equipped, very spacious. We couldnt ask for more. We have parked our car just few meters away from the house, no issues. We would come back again -:) We love Dartmouth, superb hikes.
