Set in a central location in popular Ilfracombe, in a conservation area and only a short walk from Tunnels Beaches romantic coastal wedding venue, this coastal-themed accommodation is perfect for a family or friends’ group of six. Explore the North Devon coast or take a boat trip out to Lundy before returning to your hillside base to soak up the coastal views and relax in the garden space.

Inside, the heart of this home is the open-plan kitchen/living/dining room providing a sociable space for preparing meals and entertaining. The comfortable sofas nestle by the wood burner, perfect after a day out exploring the coast and countryside. There are flexible sleeping options to suit a group of six, with four bedrooms available across the half-landing and first floor. The master bedroom boasts an en-suite shower room while the other bedrooms share a luxurious family bathroom with underfloor heating – ideal after days out on the North Devon coast. Accessed via 25 steps up from the road is the main front patio where you can dine alfresco with a cool glass of wine after a day’s adventure. The garden has a second seating area to the side and, in addition to this, up 30 steps from the front patio is a garden bench next to the small pond (fitted with a safety grill) at the very top of the garden.

Ilfracombe offers so much to its guests, whether you’re looking to dine out, soak up the culture or immerse yourself in nature. From the cottage, a half-mile stroll will take you past Wildersmouth Beach and on towards the popular heritage harbour area of this delightful Victorian coastal town. Here you will find shops, galleries, places to eat, and fishing and pleasure trips. Damian Hirst’s Verity sculpture provides an imposing sight at the entrance to the harbour. For active visitors, the rugged terrain and coastal scenery of the National Trust’s Torrs and South West Coast Path are less than half a mile away, while the popular 18-hole golf club is within 2 miles.

Lovely house and great layout. Worked well for 4 adults and a child. All accessories you need and modern. Location is about 15 min walk to the harbour. The tunnels next door are no longer open to the public. Great to be able to park the car in the garage. Lots of steps to property which didnt bother us but may affect people with mobility issues.

Beautiful cottage inside and out. Plenty of room downstairs and everything you need for a home away from home. Location was 5 mins walk away from the harbour with all of its amenities, 20 mins drive to woolacombe beach for the day is a must if you get the weather but not as many amenities as Ilfracombe. We would probably go back to same house aRead moregain. Hide

We had a very comfortable week at Autumn Leaves (4 adults & 2 small children). Plenty of room in main family area on ground floor and a well equipped, fully functional kitchen. Good sized comfortable bedrooms on mezzanine and first floor with good sound insulation. We particularly liked the large garage and road side parking. Location was verRead morey good with super market, town centre and cliff walks within very short walk. We visited Woolacombe, Hele and Coombe Martin Beaches, Watermouth castle was great fun for the kids - but best booked online the day before. Hide

A well appointed, bright and comfortable stay for us and our adult son and daughter. The home is well equipped, in a great location to explore the town and paths in all directions round the cliffs and countryside. Some smart food establishments in the town and the pasties/pies in the butchers are not to be missed. A supermarket on the doorstep, allRead more town amenities close on foot but a quiet peaceful location adds to the stay. I would not hesitate to recommend as long as your good with stairs and hills!
