Beautiful, spacious barn conversion. Kept my teenagers and parents happy. Driveway is tricky for a loaded car - our Galaxy scraped it's way down and some of us had to get out and walk to save our exhaust! Worth it though, as the place is gorgeous.

South Cuma really should come with an advisory about access to the property. The drive way down is long and extremely uneven, this caused damage to our cars and also taxis that we had to and from the property. We were actually refused a full journey and had to get out and walk to the property from the drive way as the access was so poor. The properRead morety was well equipped for 10 people but oddly lacked essentials such as tin foil, baking parchment, oil etc. It would have also been useful if the property information included how to use the oven, coffee machine and boiling water tap installed. This property is stunning, and it is in a beautiful location: deer and stoat outside, a stream running beside it, far enough from civilisation, but close enough to visit castle Drogo and do 13-mile hikes across Dartmoor. The house inside is charming, well-fitted kitchen, dining room with a view, a billiard room and a snug. Quite perfect!

The beds were amazing. The only downside was the location was literally in the middle of no where and the roads were very scary. Actually there were no roads. The showers were great but we needed detachable shower heads, so we could clean the kids. They slipped a few times in the jack and jill bathroom. The second king size bedroom bathroom woulRead mored benefit from a door. We were 3 families and we used our own facilities so the shower situation was an issue. You would probably benefit from some children outdoor equipment. As there is not much to do in the area, a dart board would be quite fun. We had small children and we found the living room with the tv was so far away from the kitchen so we were separated a lot of the time, as they watched pepper pig and we were cooking / cleaning. Perhaps a tv in the middle living area? The Christmas tree was lovely and we loved it. The actual cottage it self is lovely. Hide
