These two properties together offer luxurious accommodation for up to 12 people, split between the main house sleeping ten and the converted barn sleeping two. Situated just outside the picturesque village of Croyde, with its large sandy cove and plenty of pubs and restaurants which is within walking distance, this is a brilliant base for a group getaway to the North Devon coast.

The impressive five-bedroomed detached home has been extended and renovated to create a desirable holiday home, lovingly furnished, tastefully decorated and equipped for comfort and enjoyment. The barn conversion has also recently been converted, benefiting from oak and tile flooring, underfloor heating and beams. With its own parking and separate entrance, it provides a quiet retreat away from the main house – ideal for inter-generational holidays. Within the main house are ample social spaces including a large kitchen, dining room, a snug and a living room with a roaring wood burner. The five bedrooms and four bathrooms are arranged over two floors for flexible living. The barn conversion has a kitchen/diner, bedroom and wet room all on the ground floor, while upstairs is a living room with beautiful views. Surrounding the main accommodation is a series of terraced lawns with a patio where you can dine alfresco in the sunshine, while the barn conversion benefits from its own patio that’s a great spot for a quiet cup of tea.

There are now 2 EV chargers which require a Type 2 cable, one located in the right side garage of Hillside and one located on the side of the boiler room at The Barn

Close to many of North Devon’s most popular attractions, the accommodation enjoys a quiet countryside location between Croyde and Georgeham. Surfers will be in their element at Croyde Beach (1.5 miles), and the village also boasts a wide range of pubs and cafes that are perfect for pleasing a crowd. More beach days can be enjoyed at Saunton (2.5 miles) and Woolacombe (4 miles), while the large village of Braunton (4 miles) has a vibrant atmosphere and a variety of amenities including bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Monday changovers peak season.

We had a wonderful family holday at Hillside and The Barn ,there were 11 of us and 3 dogs ,and there was plenty of space inside and out to relax and the dogs loved the massive garden .There was plenty of crockery,glasses etc to accomodate our large party , Mr Leighton was so helpful and caring with any questions I needed answering before our visit Read moreto his home ,and The Cleaning fairies Mel and Kerry were brilliant and so caring,the house was spotless ,beautiful linen and towels ,thank you, and thank you Trevor for letting us share your beautiful home , Hide

We had a wonderful week at Hillside House and Barn. It's been furnished and equipped to a very high standard with everything we could possibly ask for. It was perfect for our annual family get together (10 adults) and we really appreciated having separate bathrooms for everyone. The car parking for 5 cars was also a bonus. House in perfect location away from the crowds but easy walk to beach. Secure garden for children to play in. We had the last of our family holidays there (after 12 years), a lovely finale.

A beautiful place to stay for our 3 generations. Really comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. Only downside was how far from the village it was and not a suitable walk with buggies and small children as the road is too narrow and busy.

We spent a lovely holiday at this property. Plenty of inside space to relax in for 12 and everyone enjoyed the safe garden space and all it offered. Very much appreciated the wet room with children after a day on the beach. Quick walk into Croyde. Great location for other beaches close by to enjoy.

This is a lovely property, which suited our family of twelve perfectly. The property is very well equipped and is in very good condition.
