This lovely property is conveniently situated within a few minutes’ flat walk of all the village amenities and award-winning sandy beach in the beautiful, coastal location of Westward Ho! It’s an ideal base for a beachside holiday, with plenty of walking, cycling, surfing and other outdoor activities to keep all the family busy. The layout of the property is also perfect for larger groups of friends or families wishing to holiday all together.

The spacious entrance hall has plenty of storage for shoes and coats and leads through to the well-equipped large kitchen with low ceiling in parts, original wooden floors, a breakfast bar and large range cooker – so there’s plenty of room in here to keep the chef of the group happy. From here, glazed doors lead into the dining/living area with large dining table perfect for larger families or groups of friends to get together at mealtimes. The cosy living area has three sofas, a wood burner for the cooler seasons, large wall mounted TV and glazed door to garden area. The bedrooms and bathrooms are laid out over two floors with split landings on each. The spacious master king room can be found on the first floor, with sofa in a large bay window and distant sea views across the burrows. Also on the first floor is the family bathroom with a roll-top bath and twin with plenty of storage and feature fireplace. A newly fitted shower room large shower cubicle, further king size room and twin room can all be found on the second floor. Outside is a pleasant, enclosed garden with outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying an evening glass of wine or dining alfresco.

At the end of the lane is a gate which leads directly onto Northam Burrows - a semi wild landscape populated by sheep and ponies it provides the perfect area to enjoy ball games, kite flying or for exercising the dog. The market town of Bideford with its shops, park and art gallery is just over 3 miles away, and for those wishing to travel a bit further, the pretty cobbled streets of Clovelly and rugged coastal paths at Hartland are both within 15 miles.

Lovely house, excellent for two families sharing. Very close to the beach. There is parking spaces difficult to access because of the way neighbours park (one of has a scratched car now!) as well as it being it very difficult to use the pavement with a pushchair or wheelchair.

Nice homely feel to the property. Comfortable beds, good size bathrooms and kitchen. Easy walking distance to the centre, beach and burrows. Would stay again.

We spent a lovely week with another family in this beautiful cottage. We only moved our cars once as everything we needed was within easy walking distance. Wed love to come back!

Lovely property in a great location with very easy access to the burrows, beach and village. Despite the wild weather we had a lovely time and will book again if coming to this part of Devon.

We absolutely loved our stay. Would highly recommend. Even though we had off road parking,getting out was a bit of an issue. People parking opposite driveway made getting in and out hard. Otherwise fantastic location with everything you needed in the property and within walking distance.
