The cabin enjoys spacious living areas and the use of a private garden, home to a hammock and even an outside bathtub for restorative soaks under the stars.

Nestled above the historic market town of Totnes and offering a perfect vista over the River Dart and beyond where you will find fabulous views. Close by is a variety of interesting local shops, a cinema with its own cocktail bar, markets, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Ideally located to take seasonal boat trips down the river to the historic town of Dartmouth , 'Round Robin' trips or scenic steam train rides. Visit nearby Dartington for the beautiful Barn Cinema, shops, a stunning Deer Park and award-winning food and drink. From sweeping Dartmoor views to riverside meadows buzzing with wildlife, there’s lots to discover when you walk in and around Totnes. The town centre is around a 15 minute walk away from the property taking the Totnes Down Hill road (less than a mile drive)

This bright and airy wooden cabin is trimmed with quirky soft furnishings which, combined with its functional layout, help to create a comfortable, homely atmosphere you might struggle to pull yourself away from. Curl up in the delightful lounge/kitchen/diner for lazy brunches, film matinees and romantic meals, before calling it a night and heading to the sanctuary of an en-suite double bedroom that enjoys lovely views of the surrounding landscape. The view is even better from the decked area within the enclosed private garden, offering a hammock for summer lazing, and a deep bathtub perfect for a dip before an al fresco supper.

The cabin stands within 1 mile of Totnes, a historic market town brimming with independent shops, pubs and eateries. A bridle path at the end of the garden takes you on the scenic route to the equally attractive village of Ashprington (2 miles), a fantastic introduction to the South Devon AONB that follows the River Dart to Dartmouth (13 miles). Here, you’ll find stunning coves, a castle and vibrant streets.

I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful retreat. The Cabin is a nice secluded hideaway, and a short walk from Totnes the walk only taking 5 minutes or so with lovely views. The cabin itself is cosy and well thought out everything you need and nothing you don't. The Lavazza coffee machine was a welcome touch, and the outdoor bathtub on the deRead morecking is a great idea. Just a shame I never got to use it due to the rather wet weather. The views are stunning across the Dart valley and upto the moors, and the veranda is a lovely spot for an evening drink. Totnes itself is full of character great independent shops, twice weekly market, and some brilliant places to eat and drink. Simply lovely! This is my second stay at the Cabin and it is an ideal bolthole, perfect for a couple or the single traveller. I'm sure I'll return soon highly recommended. Hide

A wonderful view over Totnes and the River Dart. Very comfortable cabin. Secluded location, and even though the owners were next door, you don't need to be aware of any neighbours. A very easy walk into Totnes. Lovely veranda for sunny evenings.

Lovely little cabin, ideal for two and our dog. Great location very quiet and peaceful with lovely view over Totnes. Has everything you need, the kitchen is basic but we knew this when we booked so wasnt a problem for us. The garden area is ideal for a dog as it is fenced in and the outside bath is a superb luxury touch. Nick the owner was only a tRead moreext message away if we needed anything. If we return to Totnes we would certainly stay again Hide

A great cabin experience, well set up and designed. Totnes a good place to be though walking access has to be considered. We are looking to go back.

Lovely view across Totnes and river from decking. Bath outside is unusual but I couldnt resist it. Bed and sofa very comfortable, just what you need after a day exploring. Fairly steep slope with steps from car park to cabin so not suitable for infirm guests. TV in both bedroom and sitting area which was handy at times. Enjoyed our stay.
