We felt the pictures were misleading. Many of the rooms were way darker than shown. Steps leading to the bungalow made it harder for us to access. Although active for our ages we both felt the steps spoilt it for us. We also think the premises could do with some modernisation.

A bungalow with good sized living room and rear garden with views. Our week was quiet with no noise from aircraft, traffic or barking dogs.Do be aware of steps both up to front door and out of the back door. One double room has the bed with one side against the wall. Walkable to Salcombe centre but remember there are steep hills on the walk back. The best bits about the house were the large garden, the lovely view and the location - close to town and beaches. We found the driveway usable with some practice - as the advert says, it is narrow, but there was rarely other parking available on the road due to builders vans. The house is single glazed so a bit draughty and noisy in the eveningsRead more. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds acceptable, although the mattress in the front double was quite thin, as were the pillows. Kitchen was reasonable for self-catering and nice to be able to eat outside, as well as having a dining room option. Hide

The house is very comfortable, clean and quiet and location is good with fine views. The garden is a good size with plenty of good seating. Parking is a problem with a very narrow entrance. It was more practical to park in the road opposite, spaces permitting.
