Featuring a welcoming wood burner and a sweet walled terrace garden, this tastefully furnished getaway is perfect for exploring the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Entering this bright and cheery cottage the airy and inviting lounge/diner has a Smart TV and a traditional wood burner, and provides a great space for everyone to sit back, chat about the day or watch a movie. The central dining table is perfect for sharing all your favourite family meals which you can prepare in the fully equipped galley-style kitchen. Heading upstairs, you will find a cheerful family bathroom and two pretty bedrooms: one sweet super-king-size room and a lovely twin. Outside, a flight of steps leads down into the delightful garden. With a handy decked area and outdoor furniture, the garden looks out onto the park and makes an ideal spot for spending a relaxing afternoon in the sun.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Kingsbridge sits along the Kingsbridge Estuary which is a popular spot for a range of water sports including kayaking and paddleboarding. The town has a wealth of friendly pubs, fantastic restaurants and boutique shops, along with a cinema, a historic town hall and a leisure centre with a swimming pool. Exploring this spellbinding area, you can visit a variety of attractions including Woodlands Family Theme Park, Paignton Zoo, Overbeck’s Garden, and the southern edge of the magnificent Dartmoor National Park, all within 20 miles.

  • Please bring your own beach towels
  • Enclosed walled garden with decking, outdoor dining table, garden furniture and shrub borders
  • Parking in a public car park – no permit provided, but one can be purchased from the Tourist Information Centre, on-street parking also available
  • Shop just over 300 metres, pub 0.5 miles, beach 6 miles
  • There are 3 steps from the pathway leading to Patchwork Cottage onto the front path, and then another 5 steps up to the front door. There are 4 steps down from the front garden to access the back garden pathway leading to the Backdoor which then has a further 9 steps up to the raised decking area, therefore not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.

Cottage needs to be updated. I really dont think a cracked wash hand basin is acceptable even if it has been glued and the water for the shower was just about warm . The location is good for town but to park in the car park is 7.00 a day and that is the closest you can get to the cottage .
