Offering ample accommodation for up to six guests, the property sits in the glorious wild Tavy Valley and has wonderful views across the moor, making it a great base for horse riding, hiking, biking, wild swimming and stargazing into the dark skies. One of the few cottages on the moor itself, with wild ponies wandering up to the garden gate, this historic getaway retains many original features including timber beams, slate flooring, an antique dresser, an AGA-style oven and a lovely welcoming wood burner.
Entering the cottage, the picturesque open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a traditional beamed ceiling and provides a cosy, relaxing space for everyone to get together and unwind. The ground floor also offers a useful shower room and the first of the cottage’s three rustic-themed bedrooms: a sweet twin room, with the two remaining bedrooms upstairs: a cheerful twin and a lovely king-size with an en-suite shower room. Stepping outside, the delightful front garden features a handy picnic table, and makes a great space for sitting back and relaxing on a sunny afternoon.
