Make your romantic retreat to this enticing apartment on the magnificent Jurassic Coast. Situated in an enviable position in the charming fishing village of Beer, the one-bedroom hideaway makes an idyllic bolthole for couples eager to spend time in East Devon. Looking out over public gardens towards the sea, it offers contemporary accommodation within a beautiful, period building. Welcoming canine companions too, it also makes a great choice for anyone keen to enjoy long coastal walks with a four-legged friend.

Enter the building and climb two flights of stairs to reach your inviting, private quarters. Step inside to find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a characterful, sloping ceiling and leaded windows. Choose a CD to listen to as you unpack any shopping in the kitchen area then start whipping up a romantic meal for two to dine on at the table. Make fresh coffee in the machine afterwards then enjoy it as you relax on the sofas in front of a DVD or perhaps a good film on TV. When you are ready to turn in for the night, wander through to your immaculate double bedroom to treat yourselves to a good night’s sleep. Have a lazy morning in front of the TV in your bedroom, before indulging in a refreshing shower and then heading off for the day. There is no outside space with this apartment but the public gardens and beach are just 100 metres away. Guests will be given a permit for the public car park 150 metres away.

While away sunny afternoons on the beach at Beer. Walk about 1 mile along the South West Coast Path to reach the beach at Seaton or hike 2 miles in the other direction to Branscombe Beach. Visit the Beer Quarry Caves, approximately 1 mile outside the coastal village.

Great location, fabulous to have a view of the sea from the comfortable flat. Beer was a lovely village, plenty going on there and a good base for the area.
