This beautiful cottage makes the ideal base for a group of friends or family to enjoy the stunning Devon coast and the lovely village of Beer. Entering the spacious hallway, go through to the galley kitchen, with everything you need and a handy hatch to the lounge/diner. Kick back on the plush sofas in the lounge, where there’s exposed stonework, wooden beams, and a cosy wood burner that your canine companion will love. The other two bedrooms are on the second floor - a double and a twin - and a second bathroom. The enclosed garden has garden furniture and a gas BBQ, perfect for dining alfresco, and a lawn where kids and canines can play.

This cottage is in an excellent position and with a good layout. It is however dated with minimal lighting, and oversized furniture. We have stayed here twice because of its location and the number of bedrooms for our group, but it could really do with a refresh to make best use of the space, and improve the lighting. Id say it was 2 star accommRead moreodation in a 5 star location and would recommend it but with the caveat that improvements are needed. Hide

This a large cottage ideally situated in Beer village. The fact that it takes dogs is a bonus but general cleanliness not great.

We had a wonderful week in a beautiful village. The property was good, not quite as good as the photos portray, but this didnt detract from our enjoyment of our holiday.

The cottage was clean, its handy having a parking permit, and its centrally located near a shop (and a bus stop), however needs considerable improvement before we would consider staying there again. It seemed to us like more investment is needed, such as closing and lockable windows, more comfortable sofas and a dining table you can sit round (currRead moreent one has no space around it!), bathroom doors that close and are lockable, and new mattresses to all beds. Id suggest to anyone thinking of booking to find out if the improvements have been made! Hide
