Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, a pretty double and a cosy single with a truckle bed ¬– ideal for a youngster to sleep on. There’s also a family bathroom where you can enjoy a good soak in the bath. Outside, is a patio garden on two levels where you can sit and relax or eat together with the bonus of it being enclosed and safe.
Beer is a picturesque fishing village where the fresh catch is still brought into the shingle cove every day by small fishing boats. It has a family-friendly beach sheltered by limestone cliffs, perfect for water sports, or you can book a mackerel fishing trip. It’s a thriving village with pubs, fish and chip shops, cafes, and shops to visit. There are stunning walks on the South West Coast Path to Branscombe (4.5 miles) and Seaton (2 miles), which has a long, golden sandy beach. Pecorama Pleasure Gardens, with its breathtaking views of Lyme Bay and model railway exhibition, is less than 0.5 miles away, and the fascinating man-made Beer Quarry Caves are just 1 mile from the village.
